About Emily

I am a certified teacher with a Master's Degree in Education from the College of William and Mary and 8 years of secondary teaching experience. I have taught German and English in Virginia Beach and Hampton. Additionally, I have taught summer school courses on business reading and writing and assisted with remediation for SOL's and ACT assessments. As a tutor, I have worked with ELL students to improve their writing and supervised students on homebound status. I have tutored in all subjects. I specialize in instructional technology and am a Google certified educator (level 2). I am available to help your student this upcoming school year as they navigate virtual learning. I can assist with organization, time management, mastering content, and utilizing digital platforms. My easygoing personality allows me to quickly form relationships with students while also keeping them motivated. We will work together to tackle this school year!
