About Maria

Hi , my name is Maria! I am a certified special education and elementary education teacher. Currently, I am a literacy and mathematics associate instructor at an elementary school. I specialize in small group instruction and modify and differentiate my instruction as the lessons progress. On the first day, I will administer a reading assessment that will show the strengths and areas of focus for your child. Then I will use the assessment data to tailor my instruction. On the last day of tutoring, I will administer a reading assessment to show the progress your child has made. I have 11 years of experience teaching students in grades K-5. If you want to give your child an academic boost, please contact me so we can set up dates and times for tutoring! Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I am also available to tutor online. I am experienced with online tools that I will utilize in my instruction.
