About Marcy

As a dedicated Elementary school tutor for many years, I bring a blend of patience, deep subject knowledge, and a passion for student success. I create a supportive and encouraging environment, where students feel comfortable to explore and ask questions. My ultimate goal is to inspire confidence and foster a love of learning in each of my students. I am looking to establish a wonderful rapport with not only the student but with the family. I have been an elementary school teacher for 22 years and tutoring is an extension of my teaching passion. Parents and their children should spend quality time together, doing other activities that are meaningful, and let a tutor handle the often frustrating academics their child may be encountering. One thing you should know about me is I can be very silly, sometimes, as a way to keep the working situation less stressful and fun.
