About Marcia

I have been teaching for over 20 years with Hampton City Schools. I currently teach 1st grade, but have experienced with all grade levels, k-12. My passion is reading and math , I am a graduate of Hampton University , with a background in reading and literacy, graded k-12. I provide one-on-one service to help your child get the strong foundation needed. I provide extensive material, and work closely with the parents and teachers. I am very knowledgeable of the curriculum and pacing guides to help bridge the gap. I have been Teacher of the Year twice in my district, a teacher mentor and team leader. I have had success stories with my clients, providing meaningful, but yet, fun sessions to engage your child. I also work as an inclusion teacher, and may provide excellent service to all categories.
