About Madeleine

I'm a sophomore at CNU and am looking for a semi consistent tutoring position. I have specific experience tutoring young elementary students who are struggling with learning to read on grade level with practicing their reading. I can provide encouragement and assistance and help empower your kiddo to read on their own. I will help limit their quick frustration when they are having trouble with a tricky word so that hopefully in the future they will instead work through it at their pace without feeling shame or pressure. Reading is fun and every child should have the chance to learn to read in a safe environment and timely manner. Teachers try their best, but sometimes schools don't have the proper resources or time to give to students falling behind their peers. I will try my best to help close the gap and devote time to reading with your child so that they feel more confident and prepared in class. Please note: I am not qualified to help dyslexic children. That requires a specialist.
