About Mandy

Hi! My name is Mandy and I have worked in the fields of education and child development for most of my life. I currently work as a teacher's aide and have experience as a tutor, both in school and small group settings and as a personal tutor in the student's home. My focus is on lower grades, as I currently work with preschoolers and my Bachelor's degree is in Elementary Education. I love being able to provide a space for kids to ask any questions they have, hear encouragement, and even use their creativity! In my experience, just being in a different setting with low pressure allows them to make connections to excel in learning and apply their knowledge. Sometimes that made all the difference, whether coaching Odyssey of the Mind or helping my son and daughter prepare for a test. I find it very fulfilling to be part of their success!
