Hello! If you're reading this you're probably wondering what would make me a good tutor. Well, first of all, I have a love of learning. I want to make learning fun and exciting for everyone that I work with. I specialize in English, but am more than happy to tutor other subjects for children who are between Kindergarten and 8th grade. I graduated cum laude from Centre College (a small, but prestigious liberal arts college) with a major in Theatre Arts and a minor in English. I graduated with a 3. 9 GPA from Xavier University with a Master of Arts in English. I have received my teaching license and am working on the thesis for my Master's in Education at Xavier University (4. 0 GPA). I was an instructor for a theater company's summer camp program (working with 8 - 12th graders). I have some experience with ADD children and am interested in creating a fun environment in which kids can learn.

We just started tutoring with Ally for middle school Language Arts. She is pleasant, knowledgeable and seems to really enjoy teaching and finding ways to make the learning fun. My daughter had an immediate connection with her and was excited that the way Ally helped her with the information helped her understand and remember it. LA is not my daughter's strong suit and it has been a several year struggle to help her understand and comprehend the concepts. So far we can't say enough good things about our experience with Ally and we are really glad we found her.
