Hi, my name is Malorie. I graduated from GVSU in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with several courses in child development & education. I have over 10 years of experience caring for children of various ages. I previously worked as a lead teacher & childcare coordinator at a local school for over 2 years. Prior to that, I worked at a daycare and worked as a nanny all throughout college. Aside from my paid experiences, I volunteered at a church daycare, caring for toddlers. I enjoy doing crafts and educational activities with children to boost creativity. I also love helping with homework if needed! In all the time I've spent working with children it has never felt like a job to me simply because I enjoy caring for kids and having fun with them. I do have a full time job (8-5 Monday-Friday) but I am more than willing to help out on weekends nights or weekends along with special occasions/holidays.

Malorie was kind enough to care for my 2 children (9 & 5 years old). She immediately connected with them and engaged in activities outside of screen time. They continue to ask "when will Malorie be back?" We would continue to welcome Malorie back into our home, however schedule conflicts are preventing that from happening. I certainly recommend her as a reliable and caring sitter. We miss her already!
