About Madison
Experience: 5 yrs
I'm a certified teacher and have a master's degree in education (M. Ed.) I specialize in 1:1 or small group instruction for those that learn differently and I have 50hrs of PD training within special education and social-emotional learning. I just recently finished tutoring a client of 2 years as she just graduated high school, knowing that I helped her to get there from Sophomore to Senior year is just so rewarding. I have worked with students of all ages K-12. I'm responsible, reliable, patient, organized, and extremely creative. I like to inspire and motivate students to do their best, learn new skills, and believe in themselves. UPDATED COVID-19 AVAILABILITY: I'm a full time teacher who will be teaching from home/virtually until December 2020 at which time we may return to in-person instruction. Right now, I'm available for tutoring via online from 5-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday. I'm also offering online art classes for those families who need supplemental fun for their kiddos.

Madison helped with tutoring for my son during the summer break. My son has Asperger's and has difficulty with Executive functioning and comprehension, but Madison was awesome with him. She was patient, helped him get organized and provided the right kind of homework. She also provided us with feedback on the sessions so we were able to gauge progress and do the needful at our end.
