I love working with kids because they help you see the world in a more exciting way. As difficult as it can be to work through issues at times, I always end up feeling fulfilled working with children. There is nothing that makes me happier than childcare! I unofficially started working with kids when I was in middle school. In my after care program I would frequently help the younger students with homework/snack time. In high school I spent about one full school year volunteering for the after school program with pre-k 3-4-year-olds. Since then I have worked in a summer camp program with rising first graders, and worked one calendar at a daycare center with children aged from 5 mos.- 3 years. One thing you should know about me is I love painting and drawing, and I am very much looking forward to arts and crafts time with your child(ren)!
