About Genny

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, organized, and fun. I enjoy working with kids because I feel well connected with them. They make me laugh, and I know they are very special. I'm looking for a job that allows some freedom. While working with kids can make it hard to take days off, I believe caretakers need self-care days too. I also want to communicate openly with parents about any behavior issues or changes I observe. Children should feel free to express themselves, and I want to support them. I started working with kids at 16, beginning with an NYC after-school program. This led to many years of childcare work and volunteering at children's hospitals. It inspired me to study Health Science. Now, I'm in my last year of university, and I plan to attend nursing school next. In my spare time, I enjoy visiting my family in Maryland. One thing you should know about me is that I am very soft-spoken. I am mature and respect any parental decisions brought to my attention.
