About Madeline

With over 13 years of experience and a Master's degree in Social Work, I specialize in child development, social-emotional learning, behavioral and mental health, trauma-informed care, and play therapy. My background includes roles as a nanny, babysitter, and social worker. During my undergraduate studies, I cared for children aged 3-13 and provided mental health support at a K-6 charter school. In Portland, Oregon, I cared for children from infants to 7 years old, managing transportation, meal prep, and activities. While pursuing my Master's, I interned at a high school and nonprofit, offering mental health services to children and families (ages 5-18). After earning my degree, I worked as a child and family therapist at Children's Aid, supporting children in foster care and their guardians. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for children.
