About Macy

Hi, my name is Macy. My childcare care experience started at a young age. I started as a babysitter for the families in my neighborhood. I had the responsibility of regularly caring for a family of 3. As the family caretaker, my duties included helping with homework, cleaning the house, assisting in bathing, and putting the children to sleep. As the number of families I helped grew, the more my love for childcare developed. I wanted to grow my experience and decided to volunteer my time to the youth group at my local church every Sunday. I was in charge of the 1st and 2nd grade classroom where I cared for 15-20 children at a time. This experience has confirmed my love for children and I have decided to pursue a career in Elementary Education. On my pursuit, I have completed work in Elementary Work-Based Learning, Early Childhood Development, and other Education classes in the world of caretaking and childhood.
