About Mackenzie

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, kind, and genuine. I like caring for seniors because everyone has a story to tell. I enjoy listening and learning from their past experiences. I also feel that this group is largely dismissed in our society. I'm looking for a position where I can provide assistance to others while maintaining a flexible schedule. I am especially interested in long term positions. I began caring for my grandmother after she received a terminal diagnosis in 2020. I then provided for my grandfather who has Alzheimer's disease in 2022. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and going to the gym. I enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening as well. I hold myself to a high moral standard. I value honesty, integrity, and loyalty. My skills include attentive companionship, preparing meals, light cleaning, adhering to medication schedules. I am willing to transport to/from appointments, go grocery shopping, and participate in leisure activities.
