About Mackenzie

Hi! My name is Mackenzie , and I'm currently a collegiate lacrosse player at Salisbury University, where I'm pursuing my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I'm certified to teach both Elementary Education (Grades 1-6) and Special Education (Grades 1-8), with a lifelong passion for working with children. I've spent much of my life surrounded by kids-whether helping raise my three younger siblings, working as a camp counselor, or leading youth activities as a junior recreational leader. I've also gained valuable classroom experience through student teaching internships across a range of grade levels and as a long-term substitute teacher. Beyond the classroom, I'm an animal lover through and through, with a cat and dog of my own. I strive to bring energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything I do-especially when it comes to helping kids grow, learn, and feel supported. I am looking for a position Monday-Thursday, morning/afternoons preferred.
