About Jenna

I'm a mother of 2 girls & work part time as a School Secretary at an elementary school (6 years). I've also worked in elementary school aged classrooms as a student aide & lunch/recess monitor. I've nannied part time for several families. I have been working with children & babysitting since I was a teen. I worked at a preschool for over 5 years (4+ years as a teacher and 1 year as director). I have worked in each of the classrooms ranging from infant care to after-school care with elementary-aged children. I mostly worked with 24 months-12 years old. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in Baltimore County in the spring of 2008. I have taken various psychology classes in which I learned about how Psychology is used in education, developmental stages of different age groups & about learning (positive reinforcement, rewards, etc.). In addition to the required Psychology classes, I have taken some education classes. I have my 90-hour cert. & Infant and Toddler class.
