About Mackenzie

I have been working with students for over three years as a tutor and teacher's aid in various different schools. Recently, I have been employed through a school district in which I've had the pleasure of starting and running an academic center in a middle school. I have tutored children with IEPs, students with dyslexia, and other learning disorders. I am patient with my students and care about their confidence levels. I aim to set goals with my students and help them accomplish them. I have taught children how to read through phonemic awareness and more. I am currently a part time teacher and am willing to prepare lessons for tutoring and research things if needed.
