About Haley

Home schooled through my school years until college, I have experience and understanding with the "new normal" of at-home programs. During college, I worked as a Peer Mentor which allowed me to tutor students one-on-one and in group settings. After graduating with a degree in Anthropology, I worked in a hybrid school program as a history teacher for grades 2-12. Using the hybrid model, I equipped parents to educate their children in conjunction with two in-class days. Following that, I oversaw an in-school literacy program in Detroit Public Schools. My roles included assisting struggling students with reading and writing skills, and training high schoolers and adult tutors. As a new mother, I have become more passionate about helping parents and children who are concerned with adjusting to the uncertainty of the current schooling systems.
