I have worked as a nanny with infants and toddlers for the last 5 1/2 years and my most recent infant will need only part-time care for the summer. I started working with infants and toddlers from 1987 to 1998 when I ran a licensed family daycare and then as a nanny for four families with infants. In all cases, I stayed from infancy until preschool age, about 2 1/2 years in each case. After that, for the next 23 years, I worked as an English and Social Studies tutor for older elementary, middle, and high school students. I retired from teaching English and became a nanny for infants. I have splendid references for all these caregiving and teaching activities

We’ve been so lucky to find this amazing tutor for our 2-year-old. From the very first lesson, our daughter connected with her and lights up when she arrives. She brings a new, thoughtful teaching idea each week and truly knows how to engage at her level. She’s clearly overqualified, yet so present and warm. It’s only been a few lessons, but the bond they’ve formed is instant and special. We’re so grateful for her and the joy she brings to our child’s learning.
