About Lyndsey

Hello! I'm Lyndsey, an experienced educator with a love for students, innovation, and learning. I was a classroom teacher before relocating to the DC area for a role as in education policy. I enjoy developing students and embracing the magical moments that they bring! I have teaching experience with an impressive record of high student academic performance. I always work to foster an equitable experience for diverse learners. Aside from this, I have also mentored middle and high school girls on the importance of positive self image and self esteem. I have a passion for education and love the seeing those "light bulb" moments when children grasp a concept. I have mastered the art of non-sense nurturing, which creates a healthy balance between nurturing and building authentic relationships with children while maintaining high academic and behavioral standards and expectations.
