About Aliya

I am a creative, energetic, patient, and experienced educator. I have classroom experience teaching prekindergarten - 6th Grade. I am a Montessori Educator and enjoy hands on learning experiences. Because I specialize in concrete introductions to abstract concepts, my students are able to understand concepts that are usually introduced 2-3 years later. I supervised a before and after school program for 3 years and helped the staff to develop a homework and tutoring program. I held three governess positions. I was solely responsible for the education of children ages 2-6. My combination of Montessori and self developed approach produced students reading at a 1st grade level by the ages of 4 and 5. I was an after school nanny on multiple assignments and worked with students on homework and creative educational activities that boosted academic performance. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, a Montessori Certificate (ages 3-6), and am pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.
