I have been a medical assistant for over 25 yrs. I have always enjoyed working with the senior community. Maybe this is because I had a great-grandmother that lived with us while I was younger that had Alzheimer's, but I seemed to adapt really well. I am experienced in CPR and basic first-aid. I am very comfortable managing any daily medications including any injectables. I am willing to do any light housekeeping, errands, social activities or doctor's appointments for your loved one. My availability currently is Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only as I care for another lady on Tuesday/Thursdays.

Lydia is a family friend, who recently moved closer to where we are located. She came over to visit, and ended up falling in love with Mom, and Mom fell in love with her. She stopped in once a week to check up on her. She is a compassionate, empathic person. Mom was 89, and Lydia knew how to relate to her with talking to her, and watching shows with Mom. When mom took a turn for the worse Lydia came over daily. She gave mom hugs, talked with her when she could no longer communicate, and was with us supporting all of us, as mom prepared to go home. There are not enough words to tell you how much this was appreciated. You will be lucky to have her caring for your family member.
