Hello! My name is Wes, I'm 21 years old and all my life I've tried to take care of anyone that was close to me. I'm originally from Maine, where I worked at SMHC in Biddeford in the ER as a tech; taking care of a variety of patients. Maine's high elderly population reflected in the ER where my roles consisted of helping older patients get to where they needed to be, reminding them to eat and drink / take medication at the appropriate time, and my favorite role being that of companionship among many more. I had an aunt around me for the majority of my life who had Alzheimer's. Our entire family took care of her, but we also treated her like a human being, an aspect I made sure to bring during my time in healthcare and I'd be sure to bring that to you or your family. -I am BLS certified and have assisted with CPR on multiple occasions -I am comfortable with the "unsavory" parts that often arise in care giving
