About Lucy

I've spent the last five years as a childcare provider because I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Growing up, both my parents worked full-time so I understand needing reliable help. My time as a babysitter showed me the positive impact I can have on children's lives, and I love being able to support families. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I use games like outdoor sports, board games, and educational games to help children learn and grow. I'm also comfortable following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, and I communicate regularly with parents about their child's day. I am about to earn a college degree in Creative Writing and have taken coursework seriously. I can help tutor with work pertaining to English/Writing. In addition to English, I also speak intermediate Spanish. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
