We hired Barbara for a few days this year, as I transitioned back to work after maternity leave. I was very excited when I met her because she was so sweet and communicative on the phone. But on her most recent visit, she arrived 25 minutes late and I had to reach out to her to see if she was still planning to come. Her tardiness caused me to be late for work at a new job I just started that week. I was outwardly very understanding and willing to overlook the error because I enjoyed how she interacted with our baby. And I did trust her. But this week, I was confirming 3 dates that she had previously agreed to, and suddenly she would not respond to my texts. On my third attempt at confirming our dates she simply said “unfortunately no” when I her asked her to confirm. There was no explanation or additional communication when I asked if every thing was okay. I am now left to scramble to find coverage for these dates that I thought I had secured. So unfortunately no, I cannot recommend her due to her tardiness and unreliability.
