About Lucia

Hi! My name is Lucia, and I'm passionate about providing exceptional childcare! With a Bachelor's in Psychology and Romance Languages, and a minor in Education from UNC Chapel Hill, I bring a solid educational foundation to my childcare approach. I have extensive experience with children across different age groups. At the Carolina Center for Intellectual Disabilities, I assisted in leading social skills groups for youth with autism. As a Birth Doula at UNC Hospital, I provided emotional and physical support to expectant mothers. Additionally, I spent 8 years working in an orphanage in South Africa and have over 5 years of babysitting experience, where I've cared for children, assisted with daily routines, supported educational needs, and provided emotional support. I also have a passion for animals and spent 4 years at Cat Cafe! I enjoy crafting, especially making handmade bracelets for new moms, reading, and cooking. Excited to create a positive, fun environment :)
