I have always enjoyed children and have been caring for them since my teenage years. I babysat all through graduate school as well. I love watching their little minds grow and explore and learn. I focus on activities (reading, cooking, crafts, building, hide and seek), in addition to outdoor play and swimming when the weather permits. The emphasis is always on fun, cooperation and respect. I use positive reinforcement and encouragement, and I engage with children to problem-solve creatively and with empathy. I believe childhood is a magical time for each child, and I strive to create an environment where the child feels safe, comfortable and loved.

One word to describe Lisa is incredible!! I reached out to Lisa last minute for help chaperoning a group of 10 children under 10 for a private event, and she was the perfect fit for the job. She jumped right in, willing to help in any way. The kids and parents all adored her, and working with her calm and in control energy was absolutely amazing!
