About Lindsey

I am an experienced math tutor having worked on education for the last 5 years. I have worked as both a teacher in charge of a class full of kids and an interventionist working with small groups or one-on-one with students. Most of my experience has been in upper elementary and middle school with students in general education and the special education program. I received my bachelor degree in Family Studies and earned my teaching certificate via the interim route. I am able to teach online or in person. When working with students I like to get to know the kids so that I can help make the lesson relevant to the student and engage them in their learning. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, patient and kind. I like tutoring because I get to help students achieve that 'a-ha' moment in learning.
