About Lily

Hello! I'm Lily, a musician, teacher, graduate student of theology, and highly experienced childcare professional. I grew up in a big family and community minded neighborhood in Michigan, which meant by age 11 I had already begun mother's helping for children of all ages. Since then, I've learned from all sorts of care experiences-- full-time nannying, including one live-in position abroad, Kindergarten facilitation during the pandemic school year, and lots of different New York part time situations. I've camp counseled, taught private music lessons (guitar, piano, cello), among other things. I really believe in having a radical presence with and respect for children, which means I prefer to stay away from screens with them, and love instead to be outdoors, doing art projects, cooking, etc. If your family speaks Greek or Portuguese I can help support a bi-lingual household, though can claim proficiency, not so much fluency.
