About Lilo

Hi, my name is Lilo. I have over 10 years of experience in childcare including 3 years of experience as a an aid for children with disabilities. I have worked as a long-term substitute teacher in grades K-12 and am qualified to help with homework and tutoring for all ages. I love spending time outside in nature, drawing, and sewing and am happy to share these passions with children. I am also an artist and seamstress, and I collaborated with fashion designer Alexa Stark on her Spring 2021 Collection using recycled textiles. I graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelors in Digital & Computational Studies and Government. I am currently studying ASL (American Sign Language) to become an interpreter for deaf people at concerts. On the weekends, I teach adaptive skateboarding at LA Parks & Recreation Adaptive Sports program for kids with disabilities. I love my job! In addition to childcare, I am proficient in housekeeping including, meal-prep, laundry, cleaning, pet care, and more.
