About Lucia

I have a lot of experience with children, I have worked in professional childcare specializing in children under 4, have taught English to children, and had my own childcare side-business in college. I speak with children at eye level. I speak 3 languages: English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I'd describe my personality as Compassionate, Creative, and Caring I like working with kids because it brings out my silly side, and I love the way that kids see the world. I'm looking for a job with good communication and clear expectations. I started working with kids 10 years ago. In my spare time, I study for my real estate career. One thing you should know about me is that I worked in the science field in immunotherapy cancer research and small molecule development. I am most proud of the work we did with children's brain stem cancer, leukemia, pancreatic cancer, and breast cancer. My skills include gentle redirection, instructional and fun learning, and bonding.
