About Leslie

I'd describe my personality as nice, positive, and caring. I have always loved children and their lighthearted spirit. I like to work with kids so I can be a positive light in their life and help them engage in creativity or try new activities. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, since I am currently a student in college. I started working with kids when I was 14. I have worked at a surf camp for the past four summers as well as the after school program that my surf camp provided last year. I usually taught and looked after the youngest group. This surf camp was located at Jacksonville beach and my groups would range from 4-8 girls in the open water! In my spare time, I like to go to the beach, move my body, usually yoga, or paint. One thing you should know about me is that I am currently in college studying child psychology. My skills include listening, helping/instructing, and even playing alongside them!
