About Leslie

I have tutored in math, reading, phonics and comprehension from grades k thru 8th grade. I have taught in the public school system in Florida, Maryland, California and New York. I have also taught Acting. I have trained children to get into commercials. I have taken a group of students to Hollywood to get agents there. My main subject areas are Math, Reading, Phonics, Comprehension and Grammar. I have taught k though the 8th grade. For the younger children I use a lot of manipulative a and puppets to make learning more creative and fun. I Incorporate games and art activities. I have taught at a model school in Maryland where we had workshops every week to help with children's learning. We tested them on their mode of learning such as auditory, kinesthetic or visual learners.
