About Angelicq

Hello! My name is Angelica. I am a certified ELA and Reading teacher for middle schoolers. I live in DeLand and I am a mom of two little gentlemen (toddler and infant). I have taught English both middle and high school for the past 5 years and I love teaching younger kids too. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English for Secondary Education with Reading and ESOL endorsement. When I am not at school, I enjoy staying home and taking care of my babies, house cleaning, reading, singing, dancing and anything that involves spending time with my family. Teaching has always been my passion. I love to write and read. I teach because I want to make a difference in students' lives. I want to help them develop skills to become lifelong learners and enjoy learning. I want to help students strengthen their critical thinking skills, enhance their reading skill, expand their vocabulary, and help them become more engaged and enjoy learning.
