About Leigha

I am high school teacher, in my 8th year of teaching. I am very loving, patient and kind, and truly enjoy spending time with kids of all ages. I have teen nephews and toddler niece. I have worked as a nanny for two children for a year, as a part of a nanny share. The children were 1-year-old when we began our time together. While with them, I prepared meals, took them on lots of fun outings, read tons of books and played until we were exhausted! Growing up, I worked in a seasonal daycare center every winter for 11 years, supervising up to 6 children by myself, ages infant-teen. In college, I interned at an elementary school for 6 months, working with third grade children, and focusing my attention on tutoring students who were struggling with reading. I come from a big family and I love children.
