About Leia

Hi there! I'm Leia. I have built a diverse and well-rounded foundation in education and child development. In high school, I served as a student mentor for an elementary student. This experience, combined with nannying and working at a daycare throughout high school and college, solidified my passion for working with children. I pursued a B. S. degree in Elementary Education, leading to my current MN Elementary and Preschool teaching licenses. After graduating college, I spent my first year providing homeschool education in a private home setting. I then transitioned to teaching preschool at an immersion charter school. Now, I am taking a step back from the classroom to prioritize my health. I am seeking opportunities to work with families by providing personalized in home care or afterschool academic support. My goal is to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive, while also building strong relationships with families to support their unique needs.
