I like working with kids because they genially bring me joy with their outlook on life. They love to laugh and learn new things which is so fun to be around. I started working with kids when I was old enough to babysit my younger sister. I've also been a leader of the pre-school section of VBS at my church for 8 years. Throughout high school, I volunteered with a wide range of elementary students for service hours. I assisted in homework assignments and free-time reading, and the occasionally play time with toys and dolls. I am currently a first year college student at UW Madison, so my summers are completely free. I have my own car with trunk space for any activity.
