About Leah

With a strong passion for art and for teaching, I offer private art lessons that are customized to suit the student's individual artistic journey. From 17 years of fine art training and working as an artist, I have expertise working in acrylic and oil painting as well as charcoal, graphite pencils, and chalk pastels. I teach a wide range of styles from realism to abstract, impressionistic to surrealism, and everything in between. I share my knowledge of Art History throughout the lessons, using old master's techniques as well as ones I have created throughout my art career to assist in developing the student's foundational and technical abilities. From new artists aged 4 to adults aspiring to enhance their skills, I love to tailor each lesson to match the student's interests and abilities for the best possible experience in working towards becoming a fine artist! Let's create art! :)

Leah is fantastic and we are so lucky to have her. She is patient and kind with our boys. She is always on time and is willing to help with anything we need, including help with homework, playing games, cleaning the kitchen, etc. She is also an amazing artist! We love Leah!
