About Layne

Layne interviewed for the job we had available and had the qualities we were looking for and the personality that would light the room up every time she came into it, so it was an easy decision to hire her for the job. We had a second job that would last approximately 10 days and she agreed to do it too. The next morning, we received a text from Layne informing us that the hours were not going to be able to be worked into her schedule, so as much as she hated to do it, she had to decline the offer. At that time, there had only been approximately 15 hours since she accepted the job and it was still days away from beginning and because she notified us of the change in the circumstances immediately, we were able to continue to interview and hire others to do the job. Here is where you really learn to appreciate the abilities and communication skills that Layne has fully intact and others seem to have forgotten. We hired two different individuals for the job and of those two, neither had the decency to notify us that they were not going to do the job any longer. Both of them Ghosted us, not showing up for the shift and not giving any notice at all. All could learn from Layne on how to communicate if there are problems. Layne has the talents and the skills to do the job and isn't afraid to let you know if it isn't going to work out and give you the notice so you can find someone else to do the job. Thank you Layne. You are a good person.
