About Lauren

Hi! I have experience working with children of all ages for over 10 years! I have interned at an elementary school working with fourth grade children struggling with the curriculum as well as with the gifted students. I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2021 summa cum laude with a degree in communication sciences and disorders, which is just fancy for speech therapy! I also tutored a 3rd grade child in English and math. Additionally, I was a middle school cheer coach in my hometown for the three years which gave me lots of experience keeping students motivated! After graduating college I got married and moved to Charleston with my husband! I currently work as a nanny to a 7year old and 2 1/2-year-old. My favorite part is helping both of them learn new things and challenge themselves! There's nothing better than seeing the joy on their faces when they finally master a new skill!
