About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren and I am going to be a senior at the University of Iowa studying Radiation Sciences. I am from a small town in southern MN where I work on my family crop farm. I have worked as a Direct Support Professional for Sevita. As a DPS I worked in a group home with individuals who have sevear intellectual disabilities; working here I gained experience passing medications, personal care procedures, and well as experience with those with profound disabilities. I held an internship last summer for the University of Minnesota Extension as a 4-H summer intern, leading youth of all ages in various activities and tasks. Additionally, I have worked as a non-certified pharmacy tech for a year. I have 7+ years of experience babysitting. I have watched children ages ranging from infants to 12+ years old. I am CPR and first aid certified. I love pets and can help with travel, swimming supervision, errands, housing cleaning, and most miscellaneous tasks!
