About Sarah

I graduated from the University of Iowa in May of 2003 with a BA in Elementary Education and endorsements in Early Childhood and Special Education. I have taught various grades for the last 20 years (preschool, kindergarten, first grade, & sixth grade). Also, I am certified in Adult and Child CPR & First Aid until June of 2023. I have worked at a summer camp program for 11 summers. This was with children ages 6-15. It was a Monday-Friday program for 10 weeks out of the summer. I have babysat children from birth-10 years old since I was in junior high. In addition, I am the oldest of five kids. I often watched my youngest three sisters during the summer and other times while growing up. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my cousins' children, visiting the Omaha Zoo, reading, walking/running, and watching college football, basketball, and soccer. I also enjoy attending baseball games.
