About Lauren

My name is Lauren. I am a 28-year-old Teaching Credential graduate student at CSULB who graduated with a Bachelor of Choral-Vocal Music from Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB. When not in school, I work as a professional swing dance instructor and classical vocal coach, nationally and internationally. I studied Molecular Biology for 3 years before deciding to pursue teaching dance and music. I am a multi-subject tutor looking to further students' education, better their grades, and increase their understanding of their class subjects. I tutor for elementary, junior high and high school students. I can tutor in: English (all levels), Language/Writing (all levels), Math (up to Calculus), Science (all levels), History (all levels), Music (all levels), French (beginner-intermediate), Italian (beginner), Psychology, and probably anything else you need! I've worked in a variety of settings, including schools, restaurants, music halls, recording studios, summer camps, & dance studios.
