About Jennifer

I am a secondary teacher with a Single Subject Credential in Biology. I have 13 years of teaching experience at the middle and high school level as a teacher in the Bellflower Unified School District and the Anaheim Union High School District and a math and science tutor. I received my teaching credential at California State University, Fullerton in 2008 and my Bachelor of Science in the Biological Sciences at University of California, Irvine. I taught biology, general sciences, health, chemistry and math to students through the college level with various learning abilities in the classroom setting as well as being a home school teacher for grades 1-5. I teach students at the elementary and secondary schools in all levels of science and math, reading, writing, test prep and study skills. I know during these times it has been very difficult for both students and parents, so I am here to not only be your child's tutor/teacher but as well as their mentor and motivate and guide them.

I am not good in math to help my daughter and needed a last minute tutor to help my 9th grade with her final Geometry test last school year. Jennifer was very responsive and punctual. Even with her busy schedule, she helped her do well on the exam, and my daughter really liked and enjoyed her sessions with her. We have Jennifer continue tutoring my daughter this school year and have seen tremendous growth in her academics. I have recommended Jennifer to all of my family and friends.
