While my nursing assistant experience is based in a hospital setting, I have a true passion for caring for seniors. For the past three years, my grandmother has been fighting Alzheimer's disease. She can no longer communicate with us and is unable to follow cues, but when I am able to figure something out she's trying to do/say, it is the best feeling in the world. The simple tasks any other person would think nothing of, can really brighten someone else's day.
