About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am a book publicist based in San Francisco, with a B. A. in Philosophy from Trinity College. I grew up as a middle child in a family of three children, with a sporty older brother and younger sister. I played three varsity sports in high school, and because of my skills as a competitive swimmer, chose to lifeguard and teach swimming lessons throughout high school. For this reason I am extremely intuitive and responsible when it comes to children's safety, especially around beaches and pools. I am extremely upbeat and energetic, and used to spending a lot of time with children creating and imagining new games and crafts in the summer. During the summer after my junior year of college, I worked as an au pair for a family in Madrid, Spain, with two children under the age of 5. Long hours don't scare me!
