About Amelia

I am the oldest child, so I grew up watching my younger siblings and all of their friends, and found that I enjoyed it enough to start babysitting around the neighborhood at a fairly young age. As a teenager, I would babysit almost every kid in our neighborhood and later ended up nannying for a group of 8 kids, for three years, during my final highschool years and at the beginning of college. When I moved to Oregon to attend college, I became a teacher for the Corvallis Environmental Center, which combined my favorite things- the natural world and children! I was able to work with and be responsible for a diverse group of children, which was gratifying and inspiring. When the school year ended, I nannied and babysat for multiple families that I met through the nature school, but now that I have just moved out of Corvallis, I am looking for new opportunities! I am planning to move to San Francisco this fall, so my summer is full of free time that I would love to share with your family!
