As a recent social work graduate, a therapist and an experienced childcare provider, I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. My friendly and patient nature allows me to connect easily with children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I believe in open communication with parents and am happy to communicate updates however you prefer. I believe that children thrive when their caregivers (parents, teachers, community members, etc) ensure a safe environment for them to grow and discover themselves. I enjoy a variety of games and activities with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that stimulate learning. My extensive training includes work in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Early Child Development and Play Therapy coursework, First Aid Training, and CPR Training. Back in 2022, Lauren worked at my daughter’s daycare in Ann Arbor. She was a UM student with therapy knowledge; she was also cool and very well liked by all the kids—a real role model for girls especially! Lauren babysat our then 3yo daughter after school or on weekends too. Lauren was always punctual, kind, and engaged in the play. We were sad when she moved — and I highly recommend Lauren to people in/around Detroit now!!
