About Lauren

In September of 2016, I drove from Boston, Massachusetts to live in the warmth of Arizona with my older brother. It gives me much joy and satisfaction to care for children and to help them learn new things, grow, and have fun. Kids have always brought a lot to my life with their high energy and creativity. I have substantial experience working with children of all ages, mainly younger, but some older. I have been working with a 3-year-old boy and his family for the past two years and have grown to love them as a part of my own family. I have worked as a swim instructor, lifeguard and swim team coach in my hometown for five years to ages six months to 14 years. I have been a camp counselor for a day camp, was a Best Buddy for disabled students in middle school and taught gymnastics to kids of all ages throughout high school. I have worked as a babysitter for children in my neighborhood while growing up and have experience as a dog walker.
