About Laurel

My personality patient, loving, and adventurous. I like working with kids because they ignite happiness within me. I'm looking for a job that is part-time, close to where I live, involves care of 2- 3 children, pays well for my experience. I have worked with children my whole life from doing babysitting, teaching pre-school at a Montessori school, after-school programs, teaching for 13. 5 yrs. Special & Regular Ed. In my spare time, I like to hike, do art and creative projects, listening, singing to music & playing a little guitar. I also meditate. One thing you should know about me is I am a very spiritual person. I believe in treating others as you want to be treated. My skills include 1. Intuit needs and build trust. 2. Give choices that help in managing behavior. 3. Build consistency and routine to help them feel safe and secure.
